Propose a New Club Project
Have an idea to make a positive impact in your community or beyond? We want to hear it!
Our Club Project Proposal process is open to all members with a vision for service, collaboration, and lasting change. Whether it’s a local initiative or an international effort, your proposal could be the start of something great.

What Makes a Good Project?
A strong project starts with a clear purpose. The most impactful initiatives address a real, specific need—whether that’s within your local community or beyond. Good projects are rooted in awareness: they consider who is affected, what the current challenges are, and how the proposed idea could make a difference. They often start small but are designed with intention and compassion.
Effective projects also have a realistic and thoughtful plan. They outline achievable goals, estimate costs and timelines, and consider what support is needed—whether that’s volunteers, materials, or external partners. Proposals don’t need to be perfect, but they should show that you’ve thought through the details. A strong proposal helps reviewers understand how the project will be carried out and what success looks like.
Lastly, great projects align with our club’s values and the broader mission of service. That includes promoting sustainability, encouraging inclusion, and creating long-term impact. Whether you’re proposing a one-time event or an ongoing initiative, your project should help strengthen the community and inspire others to get involved.
We’re looking for projects that:
- Address a real need in the community or wider world
- Align with the values of our club and Rotary’s areas of focus
- Have clear goals, timelines, and measurable impact
- Are realistic in scope and budget
Projects can range from one-day events to ongoing programs.
